SidePilot
A realtime control room for streamers and moderators: overlays, a shared canvas, chat voice, a chatbot and YouTube suggestions in one workspace.
What it does
SidePilot turns a chaotic stream of viewer input into a moderated funnel. The streamer and the team run the whole live surface from one room, and everything stays in sync with OBS.
Canvas. A collaborative overlay canvas: several editors at once, per-element locking, operation history and instant OBS sync.
Chat voice. Viewer messages and channel point redemptions read aloud by AI voices, with a queue and direct OBS output.
Chatbot. Commands, moderation scenarios and realtime interactions without switching tools.
YouTube suggestions. Viewers propose videos in chat, the team reviews a card feed and approves the good ones.
Twitch chat and moderation. Messages, events and automatic rules in one interface.
Roles. Streamer, moderators and administrators get their own access.
Architecture
Nuxt frontend and NestJS microservices behind an API gateway: auth, users, subscriptions, canvas, scripts, chat voice, bot gateway, YouTube suggestions.
A Lua executor for user scripts, a Python voice engine and chatbot.
Protobuf contracts between services, PostgreSQL with Prisma, Redis and RabbitMQ.
Runs on Kubernetes with a Helm chart and GitHub Actions.
The project is in development and not launched yet.
